Kate Velarde is a Chief Graphic Designer for ‘The Observatory.’ She has always had an affinity for visual arts, and as such, continues to pursue passions in this field, the most prominent of which being filmmaking. Currently, she is the president of Film Production Club, Filipino Culture Club, and Gardening Club; as well as secretary of Bioethics Club and formerly Vice President of the Starving Artists Society. Although Velarde does not have a specific career in mind, she hopes to continue with graphic design and film for years to come.
