Farhan Rahman, Staff Reporter
Farhan Rahman is a Staff Reporter for ‘The Science Survey’ and an Academic Section Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ As a first-year journalism student, he enjoys using writing as a means of expression and motivation for further inquiry, as well as taking photographs to give impact and incentive to readers about global issues. Additionally, Farhan’s passion to give back to his community is found when he inquires with his high school Robotics team, conducts summer research and volunteers at his local hospital. He is an avid Knicks fan, and enjoys reading novels that can impact him positively, such as ‘Life of Pi.’ Farhan also loves to travel, going to countries such as Italy, Turkey, and France, and he enjoys visiting Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh, as it brings him closer to his religious foundation and gives him incentive to help the poor people of Bangladesh. In college, Farhan plans on following the pre-medical track, while majoring in Human Development and pursuing Journalism as a means of writing for medical newspapers/magazines in college.
