Elizabeth Colón, Staff Reporter
Elizabeth Colón is a Copy Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ Elizabeth finds that the most appealing aspect of journalistic writing is how much power lies with the writer, especially when they use this power to communicate insightful stories to the public. She believes that journalistic photography is extremely effective in telling stories as it can capture a whole story in a single piece of media. Without the explicit need for words, these photos spark ideas and emotions instead. Outside of school, Elizabeth enjoys listening to a wide range of music genres, reading books, and watching shows and movies. In the future, she hopes to continue writing and using her photography skills while pursuing a career in engineering.
