Dhinak Gaggenapally, Staff Reporter
Dhinak Gaggenapally is a Photo Editor & Staff Photographer for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook and the Student Director of Internet Technology for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook and ‘The Science Survey’ newspaper. He finds journalism to be a way in which he can expose minds to new ideas. Dhinak feels that journalism’s appeal lies in the truth that it brings to the people. In addition, Dhinak also enjoys photography, finding the old adage “a picture is worth a thousand words” increasingly relevant in today’s world. Dhinak is also passionate about programming and technology, and he assists with maintaining the technological infrastructure for Bronx Science’s journalism classes. In his free time, Dhinak enjoys working on personal technology projects and tinkering with hardware, and he serves as a co-head of programming on the SciBorgs, the school’s co-ed robotics team. Although Dhinak does not see himself pursuing photography or journalism as a professional endeavor, he is interested in majoring in computer science and maintaining his connection to journalism as a hobby.
