Camila Kulahlioglu, Staff Reporter
Camila Kulahlioglu is an Editor-in-Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ She hopes that her writing will inspire her peers to find new literary passions and become more engaged in current events. To Camila, journalistic photography is an essential part of telling the full story; in an age of technology, digital art reigns as an accessible and transformative media form. Within school, Camila is an active member of her community; she is one of Wolverine TV’s anchors, a foil fencer on the Bronx Science Girls’ Varsity Fencing Team, and a student researcher in the Math Research Program. Outside of school, she writes for Hope Squad at Roger Williams University, a pre professional journalism program that teaches new approaches, methods, and technologies in transformative journalism. During her free time, Camila enjoys exploring New York City and its many parks and museums. When she goes to college, Camila would like to study interdisciplinary studies connecting science and journalism. She plans to pursue humanities and STEM, and engage in research that studies the conjunction between the fields.
