Alia Bhatt, an iconic Bollywood actress, has a long and successful career. Bhatt gained fame through her work in movies such as Brahmastra and Student of the Year. In 2016, Alia Bhatt received a role in the  movie Udta Punjab, directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Bhatt played the role of Kumari Pinky, a Bihari immigrant struggling with drug addiction. This role required Bhatt to express many different emotions. This is also a very nostalgic and significant role for Bhatt. She recently shared an Instagram story with a throwback video sharing many clips of her role in the movie. She showed her love for the role and her co-stars. 

Bhatt’s performance in Dear Zindagi was also remarkable. Dear Zindagi is a 2016 film directed by Gauri Shinde. This movie portrays a young woman who is receiving g uidance from a psychologist. Bhatt gained worldwide recognition for her role in this film. Her ability to connect to the audience through her acting was truly displayed in this film. Recently Bhatt has taken on more challenging roles. For example, in her role in Kalank, a 2019 film also directed by Abhishek Verman, she played the role of Roop Chaudhry. In addition to her acting, Alia Bhatt had impeccable chemistry with her co-star Ranbir Kapoor, who is now her current husband. Their chemistry made the journey of their character more compelling and entertaining. 

Not only do Bhatt’s important roles in the film make her an important figure in the Bollywood industry, but her recent wedding as well. Alia Bhatt married Ranbir Kapoor in the spring of 2022. Ranbir Kapoor, another important actor in the Bollywood industry, has held roles in many movies such as Brahamstra, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and Shamshera. They met on the set of their film Brahmastra. Ever since, their relationship has become a favorite of the media and their fans. Their wedding left a positive impact on the Bollywood industry and social media. 

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding took over social media in the Spring of 2022. Many made references to Bhatt’s old movies, especially the movie Student of The Year.

Outside of Bhatt’s acting career, she has a singing career as well. She made her debut as a singer in 2019 in the film Highway. Bhatt’s voice was then used for many of her films.
