The Bronx Science Class of 2018 might just be the most spirited graduating class yet.  Overwhelmed by college applications on top of all of their extracurriculars and schoolwork, these seniors deserved a day of appreciation. What better way for them to do that than to make custom t-shirts with their friends?

“Everyone knows this year’s seniors have spirit. We’re graduating in June 2018 and we want to celebrate that. We deserve to be appreciated and to have fun.”

Senior T-shirt Day was a brand new Senior Council-organized event that took place on November 3rd, 2017. It was a day for the graduating class to wear clever t-shirts with their friends, to take fun photos to last a lifetime, to write their names in the courtyard with chalk, to bring in airbags to sit on during lunch, and to feel recognized for all the hard work that they had done.

With shirts ranging from tv-show themes to Ben & Jerry’s ice cream puns, the Class of 2018 couldn’t have had more fun with it.  “Everyone knows this year’s seniors have spirit. We’re graduating in June 2018, and we want to celebrate that. We deserve to be appreciated and to have fun,” said Anton Weintraub ‘18.
