Paromita Talukder, Staff Reporter
Paromita Talukder is a Copy Chief for ‘The Science Survey’ where she explores topics ranging from online activism to clubs at Bronx Science. She sees journalism as not only a tool that gives a voice to the underrepresented but also as a weapon for social change. She is most interested in creative nonfiction journalism which bridges the gap between creativity and the transfer of information. She believes that photographs are equally as important as the actual content because of the insightful dimensions they offer. Outside of school, Paromita enjoys drawing, writing poetry, and skateboarding around her neighborhood. She is considering computer science and creative writing as her majors and hopes to find a balance between writing journalistic articles and writing code.
