The Science Survey

Nora Sissenich, Staff Reporter

Nora Sissenich is an Editor-In-Chief for 'The Science Survey,' a role that she values deeply because it allows her to offer guidance and insight through editing her peers’ articles across all sections. She is drawn to journalistic writing because it provides an opportunity to dive below the surface in order to tell and uncover stories we may not always think about. Whether she’s interviewing someone, combing through sources for research, or visiting a new place for an article, Nora cherishes the opportunity to explore topics she’s curious about, expanding her own worldview and (hopefully) that of her readers. At Bronx Science, Nora is a captain of the Lincoln-Douglas Debate team, as well as a member of the Girls' Cross Country and Track & Field teams. Outside of school, she enjoys being with friends, watching films, listening to music, and spending time in nature whenever she can. Nora plans to pursue a path of study and a career that allow her to continue to explore the diverse stories of our world.
