Matilda Melkonian is a junior, and it is her first year in the journalism class. She is a Staff Reporter for The Science Survey and an Athletics Section Reporter for The Observatory. Matilda’s favorite aspect of journalistic writing is being able to hear other people’s different opinions. Ever since she was a child, she has planned to study journalism in college. In the future, she ideally imagines herself writing for a newspaper such as The New York Times, or traveling the world and writing about her experiences.
