Jamie Powers, Managing Editor & Staff Reporter
Jamie Powers is a Managing and Copy Editor for The Science Survey and a Staff Reporter for The Observatory. This is her third year working for the paper. She enjoyed her time writing articles because she gets the opportunity to interact with students and faculty with whom she may not have known prior to writing about them. She was also excited to take photos for the yearbook, as she has a passion for aesthetics and photography. In her time outside of school, she plays soccer and lacrosse for the school’s varsity teams and binge watches Netflix. She loves physics and math, and hopes to major in environmental or mechanical engineering so that she can combine the creative and mathematical portions of her brain to innovate solutions to the challenges that our world faces.
