Eric Baker, Editor-in-Chief & Staff Reporter
Eric Baker is an Editor-in-Chief for The Science Survey and a Copy Chief for the school’s yearbook, The Observatory. He first became interested in journalism due to his fascination with gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, and he hasn’t looked back since. He is inspired by the legendary photographers Robert Frank, Dennis Stock, and Steve McCurry, and Eric endeavours to capture the same humanity that they seem to have in their work. Eric can usually be found cozying up with a book at the Strand Bookstore or walking his dog Syrus. He intends to pursue a career in civic engagement and community organizing after earning a degree in Journalism and Communications.
