The Science Survey

Dorothea Dwomoh
Dorothea Dwomoh is a Staff Reporter for ‘The Science Survey’ and a People Section reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She finds journalism appealing because it is a form of writing that encompasses all aspects and skills of communication. Photography is appealing to her because the process that goes into taking a picture and capturing the most important moments is very rewarding. Outside of school, Dorothea enjoys reading and writing stories, as well as studying psychology and neurology. She also participates in her schools’ Science Olympiad team. Her favorite book is ‘The Bluest Eye’ by Toni Morrison. In college, she plans to major in medicine, but she would like to also minor in psychology and creative writing. Her long term goals are to pursue medicine while being a bestselling author.
