Dorothea Dwomoh is a News Section Editor for ‘The Science Survey.' Dorothea thinks that journalism serves as an avenue of truth and she likes that it can be told in a similar manner to a story. Photographs are an important puzzle piece to telling the whole story, because they capture real-life events and can add to the context of the piece in a way that words alone cannot. In her free time, Dorothea enjoys reading and writing stories, and studying psychology and neurology. She also participates in her school's Science Olympiad team. Her favorite book is ‘The Bluest Eye’ by Toni Morrison. In college, she plans to major in biology, but she would like to also minor in psychology and creative writing. Her long term goals are to pursue medicine while becoming a bestselling author.
