The Science Survey

Anton Weintraub, Managing Editor/ Advisory Editor

Anton Weintraub is an Advisory Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ For him, journalistic writing is appealing because of the integral role it plays in the preservation of democracy, while there is a simplistic beauty in a well composed journalistic photo which manages to hold both one’s eye and tell a story with a single image. Outside of school, Anton is fond of suits and sartorial couture, fine dining, and world travel, as well as science fiction, all manner of esoteric and obscure historical topics, and artisan cheese. In his free time, he enjoys skeet shooting, bowling, and in depth historical research, all the while trying to find time to take advantage of new York City’s diverse social landscape and the marvelous and varied entertainment it offers. In college, Anton plans to double major in finance and a major of his own design, combining military history, international relations, and political science, as well as minor in linguistics. He is unsure of the career he will pursue after graduate school, but has considered working in the financial industry, joining the Foreign Service as a diplomat, and entering politics.
