Anastasia Koutavas is an Editor for the Spotlight section of The Science Survey, as well as a Student Groups Reporter for The Observatory. Koutavas believes that involving herself in journalistic writing and photography is a great way to appeal to a diverse audience through the telling of a story. When she’s not working on meeting publication deadlines, Koutavas is enjoying a movie with her family or completing her black belt in Taekwondo. In the future, Koutavas sees herself applying her journalistic skills to current events and anthropological studies.
