Nicole Liberman is a Copy Chief Editor of The Observatory and a Staff Reporter for The Science Survey. Nicole finds journalistic writing appealing because it helps inform the study body about issues relevant to them, allows her to tell a story, and sometimes convinces readers to change their thinking on a certain topic, if it is written in an interesting and intriguing way. She also finds journalistic photography appealing because the photographs in an article help the reader understand the meaning of the article visually, and they still give the reader the same powerful and emotional effect as the writing itself. Nicole enjoys traveling to a variety of places with different types of cultures; her two favorite places are Argentina and Spain. She sees herself studying biology in college. On the side, she can see herself continuing journalism, more specifically with photography.
