The Science Survey

Emilia Lord, Staff Reporter

Emilia Lord is an Assistant Graphic Design/Layout Editor for ‘The Science Survey,’ and an Athletics Section Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She enjoys journalistic writing because it tells the stories that must be told and documents the most important facets of our lives, in a succinct, direct, and easily relatable manner. Similarly, she believes journalistic photography has the most potential to impact the viewer directly, and will be our record for the future of the most important events in our lives. She is a part of Bronx Science’s Model UN team and GSA. Outside of school, she enjoys volunteering with the Bronx Zoo and the NYCLU, playing guitar, photography, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. In college, Emilia hopes to study social sciences or zoology, but she will always have a passion for good journalistic writing and photography.
