The Science Survey

Sydney Teh
Sydney Teh is the Editor-in-Chief for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook and a Senior Staff Reporter for ‘The Science Survey.’  She enjoys journalistic writing because it is something accessible by everyone. Sydney believes that showcasing the ups and down of a community is essential to keeping people informed.  She loves photography, especially when candid, because candid photos truly capture the mood of a particular point in time. Outside of journalism, Sydney is President of the Speech & Debate team and a piano tutor at Queens College.  In her free time, she sings, watches baseball with her family, and is an avid margherita pizza consumer. At any given time, she is probably wishing she was poolside in the Dominican Republic, eating an ice cream sandwich, and watching her favorite T.V. show, ‘The West Wing.’  In college, she hopes to study business management and marketing, potentially continuing later on to law school. She knows that the skills learned in journalism will aid her in reaching her future career goals.
