The Science Survey

Pamela Li
Pamela Li is a Staff Reporter for ‘The Science Survey’ and a Groups Section Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She finds journalistic writing extremely appealing because she enjoys telling stories in general, and even more so in ways that encompass the Bronx Science community. She also enjoys journalistic photography because she believes that photographs can tell a story in ways which writing cannot. Pamela’s hobbies and interests include photography, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. Her favorite place she has traveled to is Positano, Italy. Her favorite restaurant is a chicken teriyaki place in Islip, and her favorite movie is Frank Darabont’s ‘The Shawshank Redemption.’ Pamela plans to study fields in business and/or actuarial science in college. Her future career interests after college surround big data analysis and people/project management. Although she does not see herself pursuing journalism or photography professionally in the future, she hopes to continue developing these skills for recreational purposes, and in assisting her in building her communication skills and creativity.
