The Science Survey

Eshika Talukder
Eshika Talukder is the Spotlight editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and an Athletics Tection Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She believes that journalistic writing is important in that it allows the exposure of different perspectives about one situation, while other mediums only enable singular and sometimes biased perspectives that do not necessarily shed light on potential varying viewpoints. At school, she enjoys her AP writing classes and is a part of many extracurricular activities such as BOSS/WIS, National Organization For Women, Muslim Student Association, NASHA of Culture, World Culture Cooking, and many more. Outside of school, she enjoys volunteering, working as an Explainer at The New York Botanical Garden, cooking, and reading. Eshika hopes to attend college with an undecided major, preferably something involving biology and giving back to the community.
