The Science Survey

Cameron Leo
Cameron Leo is a Staff Reporter for ‘The Science Survey’ and an Editor of the People Section for ‘The Observatory’. Having always loved to write, Cameron enjoys journalistic writing in particular because it gives her a platform to discuss the issues that she cares about to an audience of peers. She finds photography to be an important extension of the journalistic process because it allows her to connect the audience to her story in a visual way. In her free time, Cameron enjoys creative writing and making movies with her friends. On weekends, she loves to be outside, often going on hikes and rock climbing with her family. Her favorite books are ‘The Alienist’ and ‘The Alchemist.’ Although Cameron is uncertain of what she would like to major in in college, she is interested in studying literature, journalism, social sciences, and environmental science. In the future, she could see herself as a journalist or environmental activist.
