Over the years, Bronx Science has made a name for itself in athletics through its Boys’ Varsity Badminton team. The team has been named City Champions in Fall 2018, Semi-Finalists in Fall 2019, undefeated in Fall 2020, and Semi-Finalists in Fall 2021. The Boys’ Varsity Badminton team has recently concluded their Fall 2024 season, finishing with a record of 8 wins and 4 losses. Their playoff game was on November 6th, 2024 against New Utrecht High School. This year was marked with incredible teamwork, skill, and determination. From intense matches against rival schools to standout performances by Bronx Science team players, they have demonstrated great growth and sportsmanship. This Fall 2024 season was not short of achievement either, with the team finishing in the city’s top eight. Both in doubles and singles, the team dominated in their rounds. Highlights include multiple victories in the semifinals, the consistent dominance of the doubles teams, and the addition of new members ready to carry the team forward. The season not only showcased the hard work and dedication but also brought the Bronx Science community together, in order to celebrate their achievements on and off the court. Let’s congratulate them on a great season!
